We declare Jesus Christ as the Head of our church, the Holy
Spirit as our power and the Word of God a our guide. First
Baptist Church of Deerpoint Lake is open to all and we
welcome everyone seeking to draw closer to God to worship
with us.

The tenets of faith we believe:

• The virgin birth of Jesus Christ (Matthew 1:23)
• Jesus is the one and only begotten Son of God (John 3:16)
• Jesus lived a sinless life on earth (II Corinthians 5:21)
• Jesus' sacrificial death on the cross was for the sins of the entire world (John 1:29)
• Jesus was bodily resurrected on the third day and now sits at the right hand of God making intercession for all believers (Mark 16:9-19)
• Jesus will come again to the earth in the future for His church (I Thessalonians 4:16-17)
• Jesus is the only name under Heaven by whom we must be saved (Acts 4:12)
• The accuracy and origin of the Bible (2 Tim 3:16-17)
