On October 12th we will kick off Operation Christmas Child. Operation Christmas Child is a ministry started by Franklin Graham. Standard size shoe boxes are wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper and items like school supplies, hygiene items, and toys are placed inside the shoe box. Than these items are taken to a distribution center where they are packaged and distributed to children in desperate situations worldwide. Through this ministry the volunteers are given the opportunity to tell the children about Jesus through Christian literature written in each child's own language.
